Meet The Artist
Let’s Get To Know Eachother!
I have always loved people and art. Creating community is something I am incredibly passionate about and I believe art and artistic expression can help foster an even stronger community. I am striving to pair the two together and being able to do so during the biggest days of peoples lives is an honor.
I am married to a loyal “Ken” who works for free. He often assists me at weddings capturing photos, especially during watercolor guest portrait events.
When I am not painting, you can find me organizing neighborhood block parties, spending evenings with my family and friends, beating my husband in board games, starting house projects I am ill-equipped to do, and watching The Office.
I started painting in high school and fell in love with it. I entered and won various art competitions throughout my youth and had fine art paintings displayed in various locations including the Cannon Tunnel in Washington D.C., the Blue Line Gallery in Roseville, the State Fair in Sacramento, and more. While I went to school for graphic design with an emphasis in web design, I never lost or forgot about my love for traditional art and painting.
In 2020, I was invited by a friend to paint their wedding. This amazing opportunity opened the door to a new world. I immediately fell in love with using my gift to capture the most important day of couples lives. I have been fortunate to paint more weddings and am continuing to use my passion to create lasting memories and works of art for brides and grooms around the world.
PAINTING HISTORY
ART PHILOSOPHY
My goal is to love people first and create beautiful art second. By loving both people and art, I am better able to work with couples and create artwork that will last a lifetime. Art has a distinct role in creating community and sparking conversations. I love to see my art and process create memories and deepen relationships. By creating beautiful art, I am able to use my talents and gifts to create beautiful moments for you and your loved ones.
